A lazy afternoon at Tam Tam beach

Presentation

Along the lido of Frontignan, there are several beaches where you can enjoy a deckchair or a comfortable mattress to relax facing the Mediterranean Sea. This afternoon, I have a surprise for my fiancée. Head for the Sandaya Tam Tam Beach to relax on the beach!

A beach on the lido of Frontignan

Next to Les Tamaris campsite, the private Sandaya Tam Tam Beach offers a large terrace of 500 m2 with deckchairs, mattresses, hammocks and even four-poster beds! What could be more romantic for a romantic afternoon in the Mediterranean sun?

We arrived on the beach at around 3pm after lunch in one of the restaurants in the heart of Frontignan. The holiday started very well with a delicious meal with Mediterranean flavours.

Now it's time to relax on the beach. We finally choose to rent a double mattress on the wooden platform. Above us, the rows of planks gently filter the sun's rays. A wide smile lights up Élodie's face, she looks delighted!

Relaxing on a mattress in front of the sea

The warmth of southern France, the turquoise sea and the gentle lapping of the waves are an invitation to relax. I close my eyes and wish that this holiday could last forever. I finally enjoy the moment.

While Élodie is immersed in reading her novel, I quietly leaf through the guidebook I picked up this morning at the Frontignan Tourist Office. I spot a nature outing, a "bike tour" in the lagoons and old salt marshes with a Muscat wine tasting in a vineyard. Élodie agrees, we will schedule the visit this week.

She closes her book and seems determined to go for a swim: "How about a swim in the sea? I was looking forward to this moment. We leave our mattress and run into the water!
Swimming in the Mediterranean Sea

There is no need to say that the temperature of the Mediterranean Sea is a real delight! We get into the water right away, happy as children. I plunge my head under the water and move forward in a submarine to catch Élodie's feet. She laughs out loud. I watch her swim peacefully like an Indian and then start a series of crawl strokes, just to impress her a little. We enjoy the magnificent landscape under a radiant sun.

Swimming in the open sea has given us an appetite. Isn't it time for a snack? I head for the campsite's foodtruck, which is 50 metres from the beach. I come back with two Italian ice creams that we enjoy with our feet in the water while contemplating the sea.

Time to dry off in the sun, we continue our lazy afternoon with a well-deserved nap. After all, that's what holidays are for, right?
