Summer means heat and therefore aperitif on the terrace accompanied by the inevitable glass of Muscat Frontignan. 

Would you like to innovate a little? To add a little freshness? Without spoiling our good summer wine? I suggest you try a cocktail recipe: the Muscat- Spritz, ideal to face the hot temperatures of the Thau Lagoon.

A little advice for a good Muscat tasting:

It is usually drunk chilled as an aperitif, as an accompaniment to a dish or starter (especially spicy meats such as duck breast or foie gras), but also as a dessert with fruit or cheese. You should know that it keeps very well for several months, even when opened, in the refrigerator.

Recipe for "Muscat Spritz 


Perfect for an aperitif with friends, this refreshing cocktail is easy to prepare and can be made in a bowl at large events. Let's start by making a glass! We need :
  • 3 grapes
  • 5 cl of Muscat de Frontignan
  • 2 cl of vine peach cream
  • 8 cl of sparkling water

Let's get started! First of all, you have to crush the grapes in a nice wine glass. It's summer, so to cool off, don't hesitate to fill the glass with ice cubes. Then we add the rest of the ingredients: first the cream of vine peach, then the famous local muscatel. We finish by filling the glass with sparkling water and stirring it all up. Now all you have to do is enjoy.... So cheers!
