My holidays are starting, and starting well in fact! I take the beautiful road between Vic-la-Gardiole and Frontignan-plage, it disconnects me directly. All around me: ponds, the Mediterranean, pink flamingos... A beautiful discovery!

Direction the marina. I stop at the Tourist Office to know the good plans of the inhabitants. Where to eat? Where to have a drink? And where to find a nice place to buy and read a good book?

I am not disappointed, Johanne tells me that in July and August there is a beach library and assures me that it is quiet. I'm intrigued and why not! I put on my swimming costume and went to read by the sea.

I walk along the sailboats and other motorboats, towards the beach of the municipal nautical centre (west port beach). There's everything there for young and old alike: daily newspapers, comics, novels and more.

I'm ready to hit the warm sand and relax. With my hat on and my sunglasses on, I choose a book of short stories and opt for a deckchair in the shade. The real relaxation, the farniente can begin. It's true, I'm calm, soothed. I like this place, I feel good here because it's quiet and at the same time you can hear the sea...

I escape with my feet in the sand, my eyes in the words of our beautiful French language. An hour later and about 100 pages swallowed, I let myself be carried away into the arms of Morpheus. "20 minutes of nap, no more, I promise!
